Did I say previously that I hadn’t forgotten anything.  How about my wallet!

Meg has all the money anyway!

It's been a very enjoyable yet busy day at Spalding with Wolds Way. I did get a bit of a look around towards the end of the afternoon and there's some excellent modelling on display. This year's show is certainly living up to the usual high standard, well done to Tom and everyone else who's organised and helped out at the show.

Roll on tomorrow :locomotive:

A most enjoyable show,  I felt a better choice of high quality layouts this year ( or was it more to my interests).

The stewards were most helpful..

First time visit, arrived at 11am just as the queue had cleared. Very good show indeed plus excellent refreshments. Keith T and myself enjoyed the braised steak.

Good to meet up with Rob and Jon, also Tony and Mo on their respective demo stands, and Clive M who lurks in places about here.

An excellent show as always and seemed much busier for a Sunday than in previous years. grantham ran beautifally and was a joy to watch. I also enjoyed "Ladeside"  as a good  O Gauge layout for one of the Guild's Shows in the future.

Good to meet many old friends, in fact most of them are getting Old. :o

The TMC staff were there usual disrespectful selves when speaking of their boss, who was of course absent.

Regards,Derek.

Was there today, always a great show - one of the highlights of the exhibition calendar I feel, especially if the extortionate cost and cattle-market feel of Warley put you off ;)

Plenty of variety in gauges and locations, but being an N-gauger the vast expanse of James Street had me hooked the most :good_mini:

Troutons back and packed away in the clubrooms. Many thanks to the Spalding Club for their hospitality and organisation and to all who voted to place Troutons 3rd.

Excellent show I thought, perhaps the best selection and among the highest standards of layouts I’ve seen at a club show for a while. The gangways seemed wider this year and maybe the Rugby evened out the crowds. Strong candidate for the best show of the year.

We had a great time at the show with James Street. From an exhibitors point of view the club did a great job of welcoming us, much better than some other shows. It was an honour to receive both the Past Chairman’s trophy and the Best in Show as voted for by the public. Steve is finally getting recognition for all of his hard work.

Once again thanks to all involved for a great weekend
