ess1uk
here's what i'm thinking at the moment using points i already have Peco SL-89 leading to SL-96 and SL-95 3 sidings as per the oringinal test/photo board and a 4th for unloading the PWA vans Edited November 2, 2014 by ess1uk
Jaz
Don't forget room for buildings. Andthose fiddling scenic trackside bits and bobs.
ess1uk
the large board will be cut in half lengthways and added to the end so half the width and double the length roughly. where the PWA vans are stood will be some sort of unloading facility as yet undecided. the odd hut and a shunters cabin etc will appear also. taken a while to get this far but i know roughly what i want. inspired by a couple of great layouts but making it my own. ess1uk
Thanks David Looking good David That's only the rough idea, need to cut the track a little more accurately and then start laying it properly once the plywood has been cut.

ess1uk
Minor disaster this morning, some of the transfers I put on the VGA came off as I started to apply some light weathering to one side. I will now let it dry and this evening reapply the transfers.
Jaz
Did you use decal fix, before you painted? Or some varnish? And I can sympathise...the fans I'm doing at the moment....are not going well....have had several attempts and am hopeful they are now going in the right direction. ess1uk
I was going to matt varnish after. Never had a problem before. Minor niggle really in the scheme of things having to put 3 transfers back on.
