Hi Jack

Nice to see you back.......

Thought we might have lost you......

Maybe eaten by one of your partners snakes...

But BEER & summer fun (whatever that might entail) is a good enough excuse....

Look forward to your updates

Cheers Bill

I'm afraid West Fraddon is developing a thick layer of dust at the moment due to lack of outings this year, however it hopefully should make an appearance at the Autumn Steam Gala at the B&WR on dates 5th September 2014 - 7th September 2014 all going well.

The new venture is cracking on, I should get another update soon - not really taken many pics of it.

Haha!no Paul, I accidentally made it sound like community service. Whoops.

Bit of an update,

I have board 1 working, need to carry on the testing before fixing down the track. Then I can start board 2.

Better get the soldering iron out!

You mean your not a Cornish Supper Villain that had had he collar felt by the local Fuzz in their attempt to stop you taking over the world with your evil army of genetically modified Pasties?

Finally I picture of progress, been having trouble uploading to RMweb.

Re-worked trackplan and the scenics on the viewing side have also had a face lift.

Instead of bushy shrubs will be subtle static grass and lineside fencing.

The track now works on board 1. Just the North end of the station to test and fix down.

Looking good Jack. Which track did you decide to go with in the end or have I missed this in a previous post?

Just bog-standard code 75, Jeremy.

But I managed to get it smooth, operable and it seems to look ok so far

(Just means I'll have to work twice as hard at the scenics ;) )

I've been doing more of that than modelling recently too! It's definitely the summer of beer and with a beer festival attendance due this weekend, that will be another weekend where the modelling room door remains closed!

Much, much... much better mate :sungum: Looks smooth, just imagine a DMU and a goods train going through there!

4571 descends towards Mount Hawke with a Newquay-Truro service.

The same loco on the return working, Truro-Newquay coasts into St.Agnes, before making a hard slog up towards Goonbell halt.

Will see if I can make a video to post up soon, especially now I got my prairie working again (it seized but I managed to free it up again)

Apparently 45xx/55xx were the staple diet for the Chacewater branch.

And the Cornwall Railway Society have new photos added from the branchline. I'll see if I can attach the link.
