John Sandys has posted photos on his Flickr account showing a RHTT delivered by road to Sheffield Park on the Bluebell Railway. Apparently it is the most convenient road / rail access point for Sussex?

Nice picture link - unusual that they are KFA's and not the usual FEA-S fleet.

Hi All

Great Photos Neil... I also have the video clip of it working to at the same time as taking the above photos, glad you liked them mate... If any one needs close ups of the RHTT then PM me as I've taken some 1300+ photos this last week and being able to be arms length away from this machine managed to take photos of Wording on Stickers and most of the underside when it was in Holyhead earlier this week... 17th Oct 2013

Hi All

As you can see from above with Neil's Pictures I've been busy up and down the North Wales Coast Line this last week and No Not 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol but chasing the RHTT on the Holyhead line... I will be posting some more pictures of the next few days as I have got some 1300+ Photos of the RHTT machine, so I will have a sort out and try and put up the 37 aka 97's pulling the RHTT's...!

Start with the Dirty Stuff first...lol

Proving that the best camera to have is the one in your pocket*, I heard a hissing sound well before I saw this train!

A Tonbridge circuit RHTT crosses the creek opposite Rochester Castle as it approaches Strood from the Cuxton direction:

There was a 66/67 combo either end of an RHTT in Cricklewood today. Do they use 67s a lot for this work?

67016/020 were allocated to RHTT work a couple of days ago. Pretty certain one of the Arriva blue ones ended up on RHTT last year. It's not unknown to use a 67 with the Exec train DVT before now.

Cheers,

Mick
