Thanks Matt! More pics to come soon! Been very busy with them today and hope to have everyone finished for this guy in a few days time! :paint: Just before they go back I hope to run them all behind his Super D on the main layout and post it on YouTube! :locomotive: So keep an eye out for that!

Whilst you're doing that, I'm downloading all my old vids back off youtube for a 2013 compilation! ;)

The second batch of BR bauxite 16 ton Mineral wagons, varying from light to heavy. I have also taking advice from the first batch and some coal dust to the sides (I also added this to the first batch). Again feel free to comment, plus more to come! :locomotive:

It might be an idea to seek out some wheels for the hopper discharge; the lettering's there, but the wheel isn't..

I spotted that too when weathering them! Sadly they are not mine, but a guy's who I am weathering them for. So I won't bother with these! :jester:

The 16t looks great, you can see the first signs of paint peeling.

Thanks again Will! That one is only lightly done. I am just about to upload a pic of a new technique I have used on the last 3 16 tonners to really recreate that patchy rust effect! :paint:  :locomotive:

Finished the last three wagons yesterday! What a relief!  :boast:The last three are BR Grey 16 Tonners. I really wanted to recreate that heavy patchy rust effect on them, so went for a new technique. I have not had the time or right light to photograph the complete wagons yet, but here is one of them half way through weathering. The end results are not shinny. :jester:  Please tell me what you think. :mail:
