kevinwilson
Hi everyone this is my first stab at initiating a topic on RMweb so advice and help will be much appreciated. Whilst I've been a member for a long time it has been very much as an observer rather than contributor. By way of introduction a small group of us started the layout Bucks Hill 20 years ago and over that time considerable change has taken place particularly to electrics and backscene. The group plus friends meet regularly to socialise and run the layout. One of the group, Paul Bambrick has been updating the layout websitehttp://buckshillmodelrailwayin7mm.com and this has been the driver behind this blog. This is the bit I'm really not sure about will an offsite link contribute anything? I would welcome any feedback.

Benjamin Brady
Good Afternoon, An excellent layout and one admired by many in our club. Unfortunately the link is unavailable, i did however go to the link externally though google and entered with no bother at all. If the layout is up all the time would it maybe possible to arrange a visit from 0 gauge members of the Alsager club. Look forward to following the layout and as Craig said welcome. 81A Oldoak
Welcome Kevin. Bucks Hill is one of those superlative layouts that just makes me sigh with admiration (sounds better than envy) and, frankly, I don't know what else to write. Here is a link to my humble effort on RMWeb: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/80426-cwm-bach-a-south-wales-branch-line/ You can imagine how delighted I was to see this video on Youtube of one of our Ixion Fowlers pulling 33 empty wagons and a Toad brake van. Regards, Chris

The little Fowler managed to pull quite a few different loads, in fact it only baulked at 8 Kemilway coaches!

It's probably about time I took some panoramic photos of the 10' x 2' scenic section to show the overall picture and state of play. I'll have a crack this weekend and post them in the Cwm Bach section. Regards, Chris
PJBambrick
There is quite a bit of new stuff to include in the next update to BH in 7mm, and it is a little overdue, so by next week I should have a good batch of new pictures to add to the 'News & build projects' page. I already have some better views of some of the signals, and some recent photos of visiting locomotives as well as new views of resident ones. We can shoot a video of Kevin's latest De-Glehn compound atlantic running for the first time unpainted, which can then be checked, dismantled and sent to Alan Brackenborough re-appearing in finished condition. A lined black Princess Royal will soon be arriving from Lee Marsh to join the party, and a Merchant Navy has also come back from a weathering session by Martyn Welch. There are additions to the departmental fleet as well, with a 62ft GW mess and tool van to extend the breakdown train, and loads of other stuff like tools and new projects. PJBambrick
There is a brief update in 'news & build projects' with some recently finished additions to the resident locos, and a few visiting ones too. I would like to get some more of the existing carriages and wagons included into their respective pages as well. Here are a few of the newcomers, with the De-Glehn Atlantic still only partially assembled for painting, the Ivatt mogul and Barry's visiting 0-6-0.
