hartleymartin
If you've got some photos or drawings to work from it isn't hard to scratch-build them and probably much cheaper.
RMweb Premium Dava Posted November 15, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 15, 2015 Alphagraphix card kits are a quick & flexible way of getting started, then Skytrex cast resin buildings with excellent low relief mills & factories. jcm@gwr
L-CUT Creative do 7mm kits, and they sell 'building bundles', which are selections of standard bits that could be used to make anything you want, incl. half-relief buildings. They are also able to things to your design, it's worth giving them a ring and having a chat.
MarcD
There is another option, you could get them 3d printed or if what you want is a commercially viable item I might do you it a kit to add to our new buildings range. What do you want? Marc

81A Oldoak
I scratchbuild all of my buildings. It is not difficult and is inexpensive. I also like the uniqueness, knowing that they will not appear elsewhere. The fundamental principle for success is measure twice, cut once. You can see some of my work here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/80426-cwm-bach-a-south-wales-branch-line/page-46#entry2092211 and here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/gallery/album/3798-cwm-bach-by-chris-klein/ Regards,
Night Train
The L-Cut models look good. How well do they accept paint?
hartleymartin
If it's laser-cut card, white or light grey auto primer should go on first. After that, almost any paint will go onto it. I've not bought from this particular company, but I've built similar card kits from a local Australian company.

Mark Carne
I suspect no one here has heard of the "Citybuilder" range of pre cut card building kits in 7mm which have appeared recently, here is a link to someone in the UK who stocks them, http://www.wjvintage.com/ When you follow the link, click on "Accessories",then click on "Buildings",then click on the link for the Citybuilder range. I have not built any (YET!),but the end results look very pleasing Cheers, Mark
