Andrew P
Morning Guys, Love the Harbour humour, its got to be better that Toilet humour, hahhah. Anyway I've been out this morning and picked up another piece of white faced MDF to re do the back scene. the piece that's on there at the moment is a few inches short, and so with the NEW PLANS, I need a full length piece. I also picked up another rattle can of Ford Olympic Blue from Halfords and have given the board a coat before coffee, the backscene will be minimalist but I need some greenery between the buildings to give the illusion of depth and vision. Andrew P
So with the initial painting done on the Backscene, (It was lovely to sit out in the Sun with it across the garden table) it was then trial fitted, it seems to work well, there will be a Dirt Track beyond the Rail Track behind the Cottages, and a Gate between the Fish House and the Cottage extension and also a gate between the Dairy and the Factory, I also need to make some Gates for the Factory arch as well.
RMweb Gold MarshLane Posted May 23, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 23, 2016 Hi Andy, Your speeding along! That back scene looks good, all in all, coming together really well now. Keep going Rich
RMweb Premium Ray H Posted May 23, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 23, 2016 Bodgit he may by name but Master he certainly is when it comes to his artistic talents. And all in the time when the majority of the rest of us can hardly down a cup of tea or coffee (or so it seems).
Andrew P
Thanks Rich and Ray, much appreciated. I've put the Old Chapel on a raised area to form a cutting for the line to go into. The Old Chapel is actually the back from the Church on Pencarne that had to be removed to make that fit several Months ago. The wall will be tidied up with filler in the morning and then a coping stone added. I will have a tree each side of the Chapel to hide it's disappearance into the backscene, (only one in the pics), and then Grass and maybe some Grave Stones.

Andrew P
Morning Guys, Thanks for all the Likes etc. This morning, I've made a start with the filler. Then I laid some Grass for the Grave Yard. I then added some Grave Stones and the Bushes and Trees. Then I added the Coping Stones. Next using Humbrol Matt 28 I gave the wall a coat of paint. I then added some colour to a few Stones using Humbrol Matt 62 and 225. Later I'll weather in the Wall and do the Mortar courses with a Grey mix.

Rich Thanks Rich, the Trees are white metal Trunks I've had for a few years now, possibly Woodland Scenics, and a matting again of unknown origin over the top.
