6-015 was one of a batch of three 2-6-2s built by Vulcan Foundry in 1955 for the British North Borneo Railway (now Sabah).  They were the last steam locomotives built by VF.  All three survive, two being kept operational for working a tourist train between Tanjung Aru (Kota Kinabalu) and Papar.  The tourist train is seen shortly after leaving Tanjung Aru.

Hopefully the source I used for this caption was correct.....Two 3-car Class 503 ‘Wirral & Mersey’ electric multiple units have just arrived at Rock Ferry with a service from Liverpool Central in November 1983

The 650V DC third rail units were built in two batches in 1938 and in 1956 built by Metro Cammell and Birmingham RC&W. Driving Motor Brake Second M28378M was from the 1956 batch.

Something blue, and nearly in the 2010's (but not quite)

How about another from the wedding set next, interpret that how you will

Something borrowed.

66733 on 4M00 Mossend-Clitheroe in October 2016.

Usually a DB duty, but there was a loco shortage north of the border.

Continuing the wedding theme.

Something old or something new please

Cheers,

Mick

Wild card Time? How about anything north of the border - any border you want!  This one is of a Caledonian 4-4-0 in the early sixties on a railtour at Glasgow Central complete with whiskered green DMU in the adjacent platform and maroon sleeping cars just arrived from 'over the border' in Platform One.
