SWT442
Has the Colas 70 been dropped from the range or something? They were due last year, but kept getting pushed back each month that they were due for release. Last bit of info said here in January, and it's now February. What gives? Andy. rob D2
its not in the catalog as it is sold out at Bachmann it is on its way I’m not sure that makes sense. May be sold out to retailers but have they preseold everyone then ?
RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted February 7, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 7, 2018 I’m not sure that makes sense. May be sold out to retailers but have they preseold everyone then ? Retailers probably won’t have pre-sold them all, but how would Bachmann know that? If Bachmann cannot supply the loco, then better to omit it than risk people being disappointed. The catalogue is supposed to be valid for a year after all.

Lots of outlets are still taking preorders so I'm sure there are plenty left...
SWT442
its not in the catalog as it is sold out at Bachmann it is on its way But surely as it's now a 2018 release, it would be included in the current catalogue whether or not it's sold out at Bachmann? If it's not in the catalogue, that speaks to me that it's no longer being produced. Hopefully I'm wrong! Andy.

Not sure how I missed it, as I have 37099 on order as well. Would still be nice to have a definative arrival date for the Colas 70. Andy.

Quote from Dennis Lovett on http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/130437-Bachmann-class-37-merl-evans-colas-rail/?p=3014678 Hmm, so a loco that hasn’t been made yet has sold out to retailers. Surely a case for a rerun if it’s that popular. I’m encouraged that this colas stuff is so popular because I’d imagine a lot of the excitement for this stuff comes from younger modellers
tractor_37260
Hopefully Bachmann will produce this model in 00 gauge also ? https://railsofsheffield.com/class-47-4-47550-university-of-dundee-br-intercity-locomotive-JJJA32742 Edited February 9, 2018 by tractor_37260

darren01
Our latest arrival is the Bachmann OO 32-983 Class 66779 'Evening Star' GBRF Locomotive in BR Green. See our latest video above or for more information click here For some strange reason, I like the look of that, seems to suit the BR Green and late logo.

steve1023
Andy only posted on 30th January that it was incoming. Assuming the information he was given by Bachmann was a few days old it may not arrive until March assuming sea freight is roughly 6 weeks.

Possible quality issue? Unlikely. Models are often shown as Out of Stock when they have arrived but have not yet been distributed to retailers. I presume it just means the stock hasn’t been checked so Bachmann doesn’t know if there are any more available for retailers to order.
