Topogarden
Purchased these wagons off EBay. Never seen the Haygates Grain ones, are they fairly rare? Look good on the layout though!
Mark Saunders
Alas a figment of Hornby's imagination and a victim of the shard tank wagon chassis! Mark Saunders Edited April 11, 2018 by Mark Saunders
hmrspaul
These appear to have been done for the company - the writing is a good copy of the company signage. http://www.heygates.co.uk/ Paul

Steamport Southport
I don't know how rare they are* but they were only in the catalogue for two years 1986 and 1987. According to the images they seem to be different each year. *It says 7000 made, but how many of those are still around or have been repainted/altered? http://www.hornbyguide.com/item_details.asp?itemid=715 Jason

bigherb
Bodies were available as spares at one time! Yes East Kent Models where still selling them for 50p a pop when they closed.
Topogarden
Yes East Kent Models where still selling them for 50p a pop when they closed. Wish I could buy them now for 50p a pop, here’s a picture of my grain train. The Hornby wagons are over scale compared to the Bachmann ones but I can live with that! sandwich station
I have one of the Heygates models and I did also buy several blue bodies off of EKM when I lived in the UK as well. Not sure what the price was though.
