Quite and eclectic mix there - I can see a 74 and a couple of AL locomotives that I am guessing are not AL5s

Well spotted.  The 74 is an MTK white metal kit and the AL1s are Trix - all converted to DCC.

Cheers

Over time the axle boxes on these wagons have spread apart resulting in the wheels falling out.

To fix this I inserted plasticard horseshoe shims between the bearing flanges and the axle boxes.

Now all running freely again 😃

The door chains will be added after priming so no as not to clog up the chain links with repeated spray paint coats.

Running well, did I see you added some weights to your cement wagons?

Yes. I used self adhesive tyre weights attached to the underside of the “roofs”.
