Cobalt point motors - wiring for DC - further queries

Not cutting wire but bullhead track this morning using my "trusty" Xuron cutter and the damn things snapped !

One blade just flew into the ether, I've never encountered that before.

The other way of cutting spring steel wire is to use a needle file and "nick" the wire either side. It will then snap.

An oxy-gas cutter should work, but the wire might lose some springiness.

 

Caution - do not try this at home.

he failed and so tried using this equipment as displayed by the P4 Society

sadly it destroyed his layout.
