Sadly there was chaos as a HT service had been stopped on the UM at Bawtry about 16.30ish with a 'fire' situation.

Poor old HT. Every day one of their Units blows up or falls off (better than blows off and falls up I suppose?) Must be a cheap DCC Chip situation or maybe not built to scale standards?

Way back. Model Railway Constructor for 1975 December to be precise, there was an article entitled

"Build your own full size HST for under 435 Pounds! BRE Ltd charge 1.1M."

Isn't inflation wonderful?

Perhaps, there is a way to save some money?

60103 made its way sedately up the MML via Corby this morning, apparently without lineside fires or trespass, despite train times being in all the local paper websites. I suspect the 47 at the back was doing most of the work....[videoed at Kingston south of EMP].
