RMweb Gold Sweet pea Posted July 29, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 29, 2019 I don’t have a static grass applicator so can I ask is there another way of adding static grass.
RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted July 29, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 29, 2019 For small areas I've had reasonable results by using this http://www.gaugemaster.com/item_details.asp?code=GM193&r=
RMweb Gold PhilH Posted July 29, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 29, 2019 Puffers such as this work reasonably well...google'static grass puffers' to see what people think of them. https://www.track-shack.com/acatalog/Gaugemaster-GM193-Static-Grass-Puffer-Bottle-Gaugemaster-GM193.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrq6ym9Da4wIVQrTtCh2Frw-0EAQYASABEgJ3uvD_BwE

Just be aware that these bottles don't take anything larger than the 4mm fibres available from various scenic suppliers.
Bristol_Rich
I’ve made one of these and works very well...
Campaman
You don't have to buy a puffer bottle, an empty washing up liquid bottle works the same, you can also replace the nozzle with something with more holes if required. And this may sound daft, but get a pack of cheap balloons, blow one up and rub on the wife's cardi or other suitable surface to get a static charge on the balloon then pass it over the applied grass to make it stand up, it does work....
