Just for the cake lovers.... (I think there's the odd one or two out there)

Whilst on holiday, it was Mrs NB's birthday, so the opportunity was taken by myself and Junior NB (whilst having a day out on the Dubai Metro.....) to purchase some cakes for her.

These took a bit of protecting during the rush hour crowds....

Whenever we get presented with anything that looks like that, I can guarantee Aditi will tell me they are full of nuts and I won’t like them!

I have a nut allergy, so I could only view.

Dons flameproof suit.

I'm not a cake lover anyway.

EDIT: And NO, not the whole piece!

Just found a leaking pipe coming out of the hot water tank in the airing cupboard.

Switched everything I could off and have retightened the union so the spray is now a drip.

I'm too old for this carp so am awaiting a call back from a plumber.

I don't need an overnight emergency panic, but hope I can get a plumber to call sometime tomorrow.

Needless to say it will be expensive.

But not as expensive as not getting it dealt with......

I woke up one morning to find an aeroplane outside my bedroom door.

Turns out my wife had left the landing lights on.

We once woke with a start in the middle of the night, after hearing a thump and a light coming on.  Leaping in to action (this was a LONNNG time ago when I could do such a thing!) with the handy defensive, er, baseball bat I happened to accidentally leave by the bed (when we lived in the UK) to find one very smug looking ginger cat and the bathroom light cord pull swinging.....little sod.  Well big really, he was well over a stone.

So, a room you could swing a cat in then?

Has anyone else noticed that Fresh Flour Andy always refers to parts of his abode as the west and east wings?

But never a peep about the North or South Poles.

Hasn't the Crab gone to investigate the North Pole?

I think he's back in the UK on St Patrick's Day.

I'm trying to think of some smart response to that but it's eluding me at the moment. So let me have your details and I'll get back to you.

I believe that's where he keeps the rabbits.

Would that be the baseball bat next to the twelve bore shotgun or the one by the axe. Just asking in case it comes up in conversation that's all. Don't want to be accused of not getting my 'evidence' wrong do I.

If you've ever read "The Wasp Factory", you wouldn't ask that sort of question...

We will probably watch some Rugby tonight.  I wonder what painkiller HH will be using, Penderyn perhaps. Do they make spoons from oak barrels.
