caradoc
I must admit to being dubious about the rejigged MLI, especially in light of the new price, but I bought it anyway and I am glad I did ! A really interesting selection of articles and some great photos too. I look forward to issue 249. 1

Peter Kazmierczak
As I have a subscription, I thought I'd let it continue and see what the "new" mag is like. Still in two minds, though (living in Dorset) I enjoyed the article on REPs. The one on barrier coaches was also very interesting. Nice to see something on DMUs too.
RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted April 10, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 10, 2021 I took a look at it in WHSmiths, too general for my taste so left it on the shelf. I prefer the old style specific subjects.
grahame
I thought it (issue #248 MLI+) had a broad spectrum of articles, which were very specific (each like a mini version of the old style mag) and some of which were very interesting and to my taste, rather than just a collection of vague general articles. The only downside was that some of the photos were over colour saturated and dark - a printing issue? And it came with a free copy of the recent loco hauled bookazine. That's two copies of that I now have, neither of which I ordered or paid for.
