I have also created what would be lead lined gulleys in the roof valleys via a bit of carefull filing.

Flashing around chimneys etc. will be added later.

Not sure yet how to do the hips "bonnet' tile ridges, may have to enlist the help of a 3D print guru...

The round topped main ridge tiles are already from 3D prints.

Sketch from the builders "Jaggard and Drury" bible.

Let there be light... the Westhill Road station building gains guttering, soffits, interior decoration, furniture and lights.
Glazing and exterior painting to follow... oh and proper pictures rather than the quick snaps below...

Bank Holiday DIY...
...painting windows, doors, brickwork and roof tiles, all without the need for a ladder...

and now the roof tiles...

Still requires downpipes and the bonnet tiles on the hips...

Finishing touches being applied to the station building.  A post giving full details on achieving the hipped ridge bonnet tiles, lead flashing and painting will follow sometime soon on http://www.westhillroad.co.uk

Bonnets by design...

....my good friend @St. Simon, helped me to produce the 3D print design for bonnet tiles I wanted on station building, he has posted on his blog how he did it, read here https://modelrailwaysignalling.blog/2023/05/24/bonnet-tiles-for-westhill-road/

Also thanks to @Bluebell Model Railway for 'pressing the button on his printer for me!

Keep an eye out for the January 2024 issue of Railway Modeller magazine (out 14th December) I'm quite pleased how well the 'Project of the Month' article has come out.
