That really does capture the overgrown feel of that part, don't forget the triangle in the road junction was always a bit scruffy

Will you have room for a half relief 'Red Cow' pub?

The triangle is there but tiny. That road layout being so compressed was a nightmare to do. The Red Cow is actually already there and has been for a very long time. I should really print it out again and mount it properly but that was just printed on A4 ages ago just to see how it might look for the forced perspective. I usually take pictures that don't show it because it's one of those bits that looks odd when you look at it.

It turns out that I made this with acetate, paper, card and foamex. As usual, not the finished article but enough for now. Need to look at the large building behind now really.

Been off the layout for quite a while but wanted to get some more scenery done on the incline. First bit of static grass on today. Also learnt something new today; I always thought the grass applicator was a bit rubbish and its a really expensive one. Anyway, saw something today on youtube which mentioned having new batteries in it as they need the power and use a lot of it. That got me thinking about using a 15V battery pack with the same connector as the 9V battery. Result was excellent static grass laid down, or standing up to be more precise!

....and from above

Much more work to do and time to reorder more materials.
