We had at least one 50 turn up at 31B on one of those ex Doncaster/ECML runs. I don't know which one now; my mate told me and I just shrugged my shoulders. I had already copped it so wasn't interested, and have no liking for the class anyway.

Right, I guess it must be hiding away from those bully boy Duffs who've taken over yard.

Too busy working rather than lazing about smoking in the yard. 😀

To balance out the pictures of Deltics where you wouldn't expect to see them, here's a picture where you would expect to see them, but strangely you can't...

I snapped this a couple of years ago. Could that be one of thems new fangley Deltic things hiding under the sheet?

There wasn't much money for that live action crossover movie between Thomas the Tank Engine and Harry Potter when James had to take over the Hogwarts express.

Crikey! I thought that read cross dressing for a moment. Thomas & James; who'd have believed it.

Looks like there's a prop from Bednobs & Broomsticks in there too. Never quite worked out what the bedstead & mattress was doing there.

And these are definitely the doors that came with it then, you're absolutely sure it's not a cut n' shut.

Tops and Green

Sunday 1974 Saltley.

I think a cotton-bud and some t-cut would have sufficed for renumbering the Class 25, no need to go crazy with a Dremel...
