Picked up the latest issue yesterday, at the Gauge O Guild’s Stafford exhibition, so had something decent to read in the hotel, last night….

A good issue in my opinion and with a mix of scales, hopefully, something to please everyone?

Regards

Available from Wild Swan Books in Bath, my take on it is here

One way and another, it is an issue  that reminds us all that there is only so much time.

Left in which to make that model, go to that show, visit those friends or even realise our railway dreams, be they small or large....

Or you could keep trying for that killer put down on RMweb instead.

We are very fortunate to have a great hobby, with so many great people in it.

Mrj 297 and 298 in Wrexham Smiffs. Beware, they both have railway bridges on the cover.

As an aid to distinguishing the issues, 297 has a loco going from left to right on a single span bridge, 298 has TWO locos going right to left on a DOUBLE span bridge!

See it, say it, sorted!

Al least they're not buses on bridges...

For those watching in black-and-white, issue 297 has "297" on the front and issue 298 has "298".

Happy to help.

A nice article on a making a 4mm scale Cambrian Railways Omnibus by Richard Loydall.
Coincidentally a local Charity shop had a box of Keil Kraft kits at £2 each and low and behold there was the Type B bus kit, plus the Birmingham 1920 Tram kit (check the windows), £4 well spent.
I'm sure, inspired by Richard's excellent example I can create a circa 1910 'Never Has Been' LNWR bus for my Central Wales based layout.
The LNWR pre WW1, had booklets promoting Golf Courses, Spa's, etc, near their line.
12th post here before somebody mentions the content......
