Typical, the show is at end of my street and I’m in Carlisle on Saturday and working on Sunday!

I might be able to have an hour on Sunday morning when the doors open depending on what the roster says, I know I’ve got to be in chinley for 1pm!

Just got back. Massive free car park. Very nice show with nice layouts. Didnt feel crowded. Layouts and traders accross 3 halls.

Glenbogle was my favourite layout. Managed to get a few decent bargain wagons. Loads of bargains on the Dapol stand such as new sound fitted 08 for £200. They had a few returns as well. £65 for a 59 not to be sniffed at.

Pete waterman was there too.

And to top it off i managed to get my green accurascale 37. :)

might have to try and call in before work if there are Dapol bargains to be had, last time I got a couple of 121 dmu returns for £39

Made it for an hour this morning, lovely layouts from what I saw during my whistle stop tour! Couple of nice military themed layouts, a wartime based docks and an 80s depot

Dapol were out of OO gauge returns apart from a sole prairie which I bought, also got a non runner Bachmann jubilee from Anoraks anonymous for £25, says it’s DCC fitted so I’ll have to get it apart and see what the issue is, hopefully something simple but nice for the display cabinet if I can’t get it working
