ChrisH I enjoyed the show at Nailsea, it is always one I look forward too. There were some lovely layouts, and some friends to catch up with. When I was watching Bunkers Lane the young operators were doing a grand job. cheers 1 1

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted March 24 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 24 (edited) Excellent show! Great to catch up with Messrs Gunstone, Warren and Hopper and also Corbs and Mr Bungus Fogeyman. RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted March 24 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 24 My expanded album is here.... Good to bump into his Captainess today - My thanks to all responsible - I had a great two days "helping" on Bunkers Lane. As you may see in the album the next generation were also in evidence (and very efficient)...I've persuaded them to pitch up at Cheltenham in April... Bungus the Fogeyman
Back in the Leicestershire hinterlands after a thunderingly good weekend at Nailsea with the boss lady. A jolly fine show, good to see some of the chaps and good to meet Captain K and Wiggo, 2 absolute gentlemen unlike some of the other rabble............also chuffed that His Sheepness got 'best layout in show'- one up for the small layout builders (although as you can see from Chris' pics, I have some way to go before I can aspire to such greatness!)..... For those that didn't get there, well there's always next year! Disgusting of Market Harborough 3
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted March 25 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 25 A lovely show and my thanks to Heather and the team for providing a warm welcome and much support over the weekend. A great way to open the batting for the exhibiting year ahead and lovely to catch up with so many friends once again.........and to get a gong at the end really put the tin hat on it. Top stuff 4
