kiwinewt
Does anyone know if there is a RTR or kit available for this? Thanks Nate
RMweb Premium Kris Posted November 3, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 3, 2010 Never seen or heard of one.
Karhedron
I have never heard of one either although I would also like one. Our best hope is that Bachmann shrink their 00 version as they did with the prototype Deltic. IIRC it was 3 years between the 00 and N gauge deltics so me might hear something in 2 years time if they plan to shrink CoT.
PGN
It has not been done as an RTR or kit in N - although I seem to recall an article somewhere who had taken a pushalong from Lesney or similar and found a way of motorising it.
BernardTPM
I seem to recall an article somewhere who had taken a pushalong from Lesney or similar and found a way of motorising it. That was the old 'Duke of Connought' GWR single (like Tri-ang/Hornby's 'Lord of the Isles'), though the Lesney model was to 1:137 (IIRC) scale. 298
Quite a while ago I thought of doing one using a cut down PD Marsh tender and a scratchbuilt loco on a Farish Compound chassis, but with later planning I realised the proposed chassis would have been too far out to warrant it's use. I'd be surprised if it hasn't been done in 2mm...
-missy-
Hello Its on my 'to do' list (as it was a regular on the DN&SR) so any help with it would help loads. I was hoping to persuade Mr Worsley Works to produce one of his scratch aid kits for it (oneday) Missy
