Cornish Triang Paul
It was rumoured awhile back about the DRS 33s being used but having emailed the operators, i can say its all EE power. I shall not be around as after 2 years, im back on perm. nights fri and sat. and - well - im a small Sulzer person myself !! I wonder if FGW will put on another demonstration of " How to operate double-slips with an HST " this year ?
Penlan
Thanks for this I will be paying my annual visit to Mazey Day..... Hope you get to see Pondlifeska then at the Dock Inn http://www.myspace.com/pondlifeska but I'm not sure what time we're booked to play though..... Edit - One of the biggest problems with Mazey Day is there's no Mazy Fringe Gig Guide, and this years brochure is not that helpful either - there is a downloadable .pdf file which is great if you have something like a A2 printer, but for those of us using A4's, it's zilch use, for example try this http://golowan.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/11_891_GolowanFestivaWeb.pdf Actually a weekly/monthly Gig Guide for Penwith would be a great help - but I'm not doing it - and before Gwiwer picks up on this, Gig's as in music and bands etc., not the Gig racing boats etc.,
kernowtim
the excursions are mentioned on.. http://www.tauntontrains.co.uk/WORKINGS.htm Naturally enough i am working that day, even more annoying is that the railway runs in a cutting and behind buildings past the industrial estate I work so only get to hear them Did see a western and DRS 37's last year though
