Thanks Rob & Peter, No yet Peter, no Centro 150. Pushed down the list now as I have seen Bachmann are to release a long awaited batch of 47's , NSE. RES InterCity, Railfreight Distribution and Original Railfreight. Plenty of Duffs in South Wales in the future, may end up looking like Bath Road or Landore...

Many thanks John in taking the time to look through the thread its long I know but I really do appretiate it, Thank you.

Hello all, Hope all is well.

Having been sat on the lounge coffee table for sometime now finally got on with the wagon hoist for the wagon works, not yet complete, needs to be painted, weathered more, just in a base yellow for now and then fixed in place.

A few shots of Metals 09 with a scrap wagon and a 60 passing with a MGR from the Steelworks.

Hi Leon,

Have you considered sitting on a sofa rather than a coffee table, you'll find it a lot more comfortable! :jester:

Good to see the photo's, the hoist fits in well. Funnily I was thinking earlier about the sector livery. I thought to myself wouldn't that era be nice to model..

Don't leave it so long next time for the updates..

Cheers

Scott

Cheers Scott,

Been a while I know, you know what its like, too much work and not enough money for modern railway modellers, everything seems to cost sooo much. Im trying to save up for some TTA's. I like your rake you had at the now closed terminal, how come it was so short lived? I thought it looked great with the 47, your going all passenger-ry...lol. I think some triple grey sectors would look good on your layout, bit of a bother tho selling what you have and replacing it all...

Hope all is good with your layout, waiting for some more updates...

Had a bit of a tidy in the attic this evening and a bit of a play with the type 5's. After the 60 arrived with a steel train, 56032 is then attatched to the front end to continue the journey West.

Evening,

Firstly, the picture above is brilliant. (post #797) especially when you click on it and make it bigger. I just think you've captured it to a tee.. nice one.

Secondly: My layout! The TTA's were short lived because it just wasn't doing it for me. Probably because I cocked up the weathering and put it in the too difficult box. When I get frustrated with something I go off it very quickly. Not sure I am going to update mine for a while. I'm going through a period where I want to rip it all up. I blame Phil of Beresford Junction. It hasn't stopped me buying another loco though and should be arriving in the near future. It's not TTG, more of a green colour. Nothing exciting just a standard loco seen everywhere.

I haven't purchased any more passenger stock, im getting bored of that too.

Keep up the good work Leon, I admire you for sticking to and idea and not changing it all the time. I wish I could say the same about me.. :fool:

Cheers

Scott
