It was a memorable experience as I was 9 years old and very eerie even though there was plenty of light. Me and my dad said we would go back with torches and walk the track someday but we never did! BOARD OF TRADE Posted October 23, 2014 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I went on it the once with my Dad not long before it must have closed,Dad took me. Especially I think as just me and him went,and he wasn't going to work.We traveled from James St. I would have thought as it was a short walk from the underground station and I was v young.I was born in early 1953 so I'm not sure how old I was but I have one or two memories albeit vague of the trip.
