RMweb Premium Downer Posted January 22, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 22, 2012 Two Class 16s. I wouldn't need to wire the layout.
scots region
A Fowler Compound Pacific and one of Gresley 4-8-2, both to finescale standards or Margate, I'm not really that concerned. Please and thank you
halfwit
Rather than choose 2 locos I'd ask to keep my tools, reference material and a supply of brass, wheels, motors etc.
RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted January 22, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2012 It would have to be my scratchbuilt ES1 (see my avatar) and my scratchbuilt Q5 and then as Paul has said, keep my tools etc. Then build a hidden railway room... Edit:- can I keep my Tyneside electric stock as well? it's a multiple unit, not a loco...
RMweb Gold big jim Posted January 22, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2012 of the locos ive actually got i'd keep hold of the following: 66301 in fastline freight livery for sentimental reasons (being as i was the first person to drive the real thing) my modified london midland 172, too much work gone into it to never see it again!! RMweb Gold 46444 Posted January 22, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2012 Hmmm! Easy one this! A J15 and a Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0!!!! Cheers, Mark
Allegheny1600
Well,..... Looks like Mark (46444) has already bagged my British choice so I'd go for an American: an Alco RSD4/5 and a German: a BR44 - a three cylinder 2-10-0 beast! Then again, I do love the Alco C-628 high hood (got to be C&NW!) and a Bavarian S3/6 lined green pacific! Or, there's always.......... Cheers, John E. D605Eagle
Well, it would have to be my GCR 9Q as it cost a bloomin arm and a leg, and what the hell, I'll stick with GCR freight livery and say my NRM GCR 8K.

RMweb Premium Colin Posted January 25, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 25, 2012 Two Standards for me - a 5MT 4-6-0 and a 4MT 2-6-4T - my all time favourite steamers. D&E - I suppose it would have to be a couple of smaller units, say a 33 and 73.
