'Hornby King, missing motor.  Also tender is slightly different shade of green'.  Err would that be anything to do with the fact it's not a Collett tender?

The recent story on The Archers where Pat & Tony have decided to sell their herd suggested that old milk churns are actually much sought after!

And, where's the handrail on the tank, I mean, all the water will run out of those holes...

Some people

Dave.

That loco must be an early one to have had the handrails fitted...only the first production had handrails, all the rest had the holes filled in...

Not sure if we've seen this before from one of our regulars?  Apols if we have but I don't recall seeing it.

THE BOX & INNER PACKING TRAY ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

The box ends at least look Slightly Worn to me! ;)

I'm pretty sure that the tender is not right for the loco as when connected not all the wheels are in contact with track

I have taken a close up picture but it is hard to see.

Well, that part is correct...;)  BR Standard Tender....did any Kings actually get one? :scratchhead:

Re: the Code 3 pug. I'm new here, so apologies if this is an old, ongoing topic, but is this guy serious? Over £50 including postage for a 'Southern' Caley pug? I suppose it took so much effort to paint it black. If someone buys it then we'll have proof that it's possible even in this great economic recovery (sic) to have more money than sense.

COMES UNBOXED   AS IT WAS IN MY DISPLAY CABINET

So, the question is....why pose the loco on any box? :scratchhead:

Surely not to suggest the loco was made by Bachmann....

The category is correct...Lima Locomotives...

Yes if you plough through 300+ pages on this thread you'll see certain sellers appear over and over and over and over :butcher:

Just about to ask that!

AFAIK Kings only ran with Collett tenders* in normal service, nothing else.  (Cue lots of pics from GW experts with 'prototype for everything' references)

*(Am excluding locomtive exchanges and oil burning trials here)

Or you can buy two together for £59.95.

So let's see one at £49.50, one at £32.50 or two for £59.95.............No - I can't work out the pricing structure either................
