Horsetan
The above mentioned vendor attracts a lot of interest, but doesn't sell many kit built locos, as they are advertised for months and months. Another of the crazy price brigade has had the same rubbish (sorry loco) advertised for over TWO YEARS. I am not a businessman, but I would think selling ten items for a £10 profit each is better than one item with a £80 profit. Whatever profit he hoped to make would have been curtailed by eBay fees every time the thing gets relisted...
RMweb Premium Neil Posted March 24, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 24, 2014 Does he ever reply to enquiries of this nature? He hasn't so far. I had hoped (somewhat mischievously) that my question about it being available elsewhere at a far cheaper price would have appeared as a question at the bottom of the listing. It hasn't done so yet. I wonder if they only appear when the vendor replies.

Rail-Online
What is this all about then? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhibition-Club-Layout-Track-/111308552048?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item19ea81b770 The title is Exhibition Club Layout track as are the photos but in the description is "Welcome to this auction for the seated figure in the first picture. Also available is the ex-WMRC Exhibition layout 16' x 11'................." At the very least misleading but perhaps someone is trying to be clever? 84A
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Job-Lot-Of-Hornby-Locos-/321360718584?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4ad2976af8 circa £300/6 locos approx £50 a loco. Sounds good (for example) for an R2339 Mallard - until you check out the front bufferbeam, that is! It looks like a HST powercar with buffers at the front now! Never mind the finish on it. The price seems to be based on the fact that its fitted for sound, however the only rational for this is that the rest of the collection was so fitted! Seller is 'unable to check'. Anyone prepared to take a guess for 190 pounds?

C&WR
Isn't it the Airfix Luftwaffe ground crew set? Just had a look and I think you're dead right. I didn't know about that set having had a bit of a break from modelling and apart from a Stuka, and ME109 and an Arado floatplane never really built German stuff as a nipper. Funny thing is that there are some of the figures that look very similar between the sets. I always thought the combat caps didn't look quite right on some of the erks. Steve-e
His eBay ID changes every now and then from "gostude" to "antiquetoys1" and back again. If it is the same person looking at what is listed he seems to have Gostude for British 00 / 0 gauge, Trucks, UK Kits and Soldiers antiquetoys1 is for N Gauge , Non UK eg. HO, American etc , HO Kits and various cars There are a couple of odd ones that slip through onto the wrong account eg HOe stock and some cars on the Gostude one so maybe not the same unless someone has bought from both and can confirm. It could be a conspiracy to throw people off the scent though "No Mr Ebay I sell continental stuff and cars on this account, dont know what there talking about" Never bought from him myself and I dont know if hes breaking any Ebay rules by having multiple accounts as long as he doesn't bid on his own stuff. If people are desparate enough to pay top price and a bit more them that's their choice just wish they would when I list something Regards Edited March 25, 2014 by Nes
