Il Grifone
Does it have sprung buffers as standard? Definitely! (The coefficient of elasticity will probably depend on the silicone content.) Edited January 2, 2016 by Il Grifone
Titan
Definitely! (The coefficient of elasticity will probably depend on the silicone content.) Mine are not hydraulic or pneumatic, but are still suitable for use on very tight curves.

Il Grifone
Rigid coupling? Again definitely - an essential requirement! (Loose coupling (or worse instanter) highly undesirable.....)

wombatofludham
Because. Cheers, Mick Our friend Turde de Goss. Apart from that I too wondered quite what was the point. Mind you it would be fun if SWT took a leaf out of the Stagecoach bus fleets and started painting the odd train in retro liveries.

centraltrains
...but only if they're FGW. I thought those were still in stock new! Seems not. Any idea why FGW is always the valuble livery? Only reason I can ever think of (with no proof) is people tend to like to model the area around them and the south is generally more wealthier than the north so more people can afford modelling. Horsetan
I thought those were still in stock new! Seems not. Any idea why FGW is always the valuable livery? ..... Probably something to do with the difficulty in rendering the graphics and the colour shading.
RMweb Premium newbryford Posted January 5, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) Three sets of Lima snowploughs for just shy of £28. You are havin' a giraffe.... Then again, this same seller ( possibly a North of The Border relation to our Warwickshire friend) has been peddling FGW stuff, including the Harry Patch HST for similarly stupid prices (without apparent success) Cheers, Mick Edited January 5, 2016 by newbryford

Horsetan
What would be a realistic value of a full FGW train I wonder? More than we can possibly imagine, the way things are going. It wouldn't surprise me if a low-mileage Ferrari 348tb works out cheaper.
