Pugsley
Yes, saw it on an internet shelf the other week. Couldn't see what was in it though, all wrapped in plastic. I decided not to bother.

RMweb Gold ian Posted September 24, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 24, 2009 Well I got mine. Only trouble is it was in a card envelope marked 'MAGAZINES DO NOT BEND'. The postie had bent it in two and written 'Oh yes they do' on it. I'll get me coat....
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted September 25, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 25, 2009 I was told that unless my Christian name was Fred or Joe, I wasn't eligible to receive the publication...
Andy C
Doesnt worry me as I wouldnt personaly use the thing to wipe where the sun dont shine, its an awful mag and the deputy editors a cunning stunt.
RMweb Gold ian Posted September 27, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 27, 2009 Ah, but it's 5p cheaper than the better mag, so I always buy it. I prefer the better mag though....
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 9, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2009 Did you read the latest editorial in the 'Illustrated Muddling Gricethusiast?' - I mean, what's that bloke got against ferrets?!
Kenton
I got my copy last week but the Editorial said not to tell anyone else .... whoops
28ten
maybe you should try 'finescale blog journal' instead. It's not the same as it was 25 years ago, but I still buy it anyway
Guest Phil
Doesnt worry me as I wouldnt personaly use the thing to wipe where the sun dont shine, its an awful mag and the deputy editors a cunning stunt. It's also got too many adverts, full of the same old stuff and where's that article about the pair of vans built in 1923 by Met Camm for the carriage of live stoats ? They promised that three issues ago. I think the mag is rubbish and I'm never gonna buy it again ever. Well maybe if theres an article about the Blue Pullman I might reconsider. Kenton
Doesn't worry me as I wouldn't personally use the thing to wipe where the sun don't shine Neither would I since they started putting those stapes on each page
Beacon
Can anyone tell me if it is for sale in my local shop yet as I'd rather not have to leave my house to check for myself...

Chris Nevard
Can I have someone's old copy of October '09 Toy Train Monthly for free, cos I've just spent all my money on every Bachmann Class 66 ever made and can't spare any cash for a magazine... RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted October 11, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11, 2009 Looks more like Slimmers' Weekly to me as all the avatars look a bit narrower than they used, I wonder if I've now got a Norman castle?
Allegheny1600
It's REALLY annoying when sertain people hi-jack a cerious thread like this! We started off with the poor OP wondering where he could get obtain that esteemed publication "Blogs Monthly" - i never miss mine, it's such an entertaining read but i always recycle straight away. Then we ended up discussing allsorts, taking this thread away from it's subject matter - terrible. Me, i've just got back from the virtual barbers after my online haircut! zabdiel
I feel the paper is rather poor quality, and there's not enough articles about the 3.1415' gauge solar powered railways of lower Mesopotamia for my taste.
