trent
Does anyone know whose sound file is being used in Crewkerne? Martin
orcadian
I don't know whose sound files are being used, but I do know it's a case of if you want Crewkerne, you need to grab it while you can! Rails said, some months ago, that they pre-sold their entire allocation and that it's now 'sold out or discontinued' by Hornby and Hattons don't even seem to be listing it, which suggests sold out to pre-orders. Good news for Hornby! Although, from the second-hand prices, it looks as though Hornby could easily still sell plenty of Bulleid Pacifics 0if only someone would make them for them! Ed-farms
I heard Crewekerne at Hartlepool show in July and although I don't know who made the sound files it is another top notch engine and really sounds like a Bullied.
Combe Martin
Does anyone know if it's going to be produced without sound ?
RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted October 3, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 3, 2012 Does anyone know if it's going to be produced without sound ? Not according to the Hornby catalogue and various retailer websites. Where is the speaker? If its in the tender, I presume it would be quite easy for someone - or even a retailer - to swop the sound chip/speaker to a different BB/WC? There's an early emblem unrebuilt 34001 Exeter due later this year which might be a suitable "donor".
