They'll be making at least another twenty batches between now and then. I preferred it when the C-word wasn't mentioned in polite society until after Bonfire Night. great central
There's a part box of said confectionery in a cupboard at the club from last year's 'do' I had one last week, still perfectly edible and no after effects, so a use by date is probably superfluous as they're so full of sugar. 1

No one’s mentioned it John 😎 see below, I don’t feel any foods should be constrained by tradition or association with events. I aim for full inclusion in all months of the year! 2 hours ago, PaulRhB said: Mince pie season is open. 1 hour ago, SHMD said: I have a feeling that "best before" dates are quite superfluous here... You wont like the fact that the "Great Movies Classics" channel morphed into "Great Movies Christmas" last Wednesday then. A non stop feast (more like indigestion,,,😮) of 1 and 2 star films for the next 4 months.☹️ Bit annoying as there was a proper "Classic" film set in the record menu of the set top box, but it got dumped when they changed over, 12 hours early!

Kate Bush going back to 1985 was innocent nostalgia. Johnny Rotten going back to 1977 might not be a good career move right now.

You might think so, but Free Speech organisations have been complaining about a few unthoughtful anti-monarchists who had been expressing their opinions at the procession to St Giles yesterday being "talked to" by the police. There may be a market for it...
