Hi all,

Here are a few photos showing the recent progress on the layout, which includes work on the platforms and station area. The bridge with the station needs lowering as it sits too high at the moment. dfcaa7b8cb8ab9837585e44d2290c0fa_zps89f610dfbba5708f3524c03d91ad88f130b1_zps44043108d896316d83571fead0f5cdd31933_zpse86732afcee5ba9b08f61d145c2f141b7117_zps52ce6ad63829a6ba5d4134e5a0b07d710ba6_zps6473

Great layout

Especially the rotary kiln and the chimney and the cement works

Btw how high is the chimney in 4mm and real life size

Hi all,

Over the last few days I have been doing a lot of work on the layout. This includes the lowering of the bridge, new mainline section and new track layout for the cement works. A few photos of the changes will follow and a few videos tomorrow. 60018 joins the Southwich fleet, after 60500's chip has failed.

Thanks,

Will

Hi all,

Thanks David!

Cheers Swifty.

I have not done a huge amount of work today, but the cement works and stabling point have now been wired up meaning the whole layout works. The next few jobs include the scenery on the bridge and painting/spraying the cement works.

Thanks

Will

There's no rush in modelling! I'm the prime example!! Where do you get those small cement wagons (PCAs?)

The ones in the 5th post

Hi Swifty,

Sorry I can't remember where my dad bought them from, it was a long time ago!

Thanks

Will

Ok, no worries. I'm at a dead loss finding them! I'll send beast a message.

Would you mind asking your dad what make they are? If he knows

Hi all

No real work has been done since the weekend but have taken a few photos of locos on the layout:
