Hello Steve, l am quite pleased with the overall look of the depot even with its small size of 10' x 2' its amazing what you can get in, its just nice to run locos in and out, most of my stock is ex-SR(BR) but l do like some of the ex-LMS locos too..

Had to make 10 dead section's on 72G,  l drilled two hole's, then inserted some brass rod, then soldered them to the track, then slit the track, the soldered rod's give a really strong hold on the track, you can then solder the wire's from underneath the baseboard the the control panel..

Neat idea mate, I wish I had thought of that.

Really looking forward to a day out on the SVR tomorrow, I hope it doesn't rain like last time, remember we had wet feet by 10am and we hadn't even boarded the first train by then.

What a cracking day we had on the SVR, the day didn't start too good, had a problem with a herd of cattle who had made a run for it on the road, took 20mins to get through them, but finally got to the SVR with Bodgit, l really loved Bewdley, so much inspiration there with lovely buildings and GWR rolling stock, cracking place for modellers.

Hi mate that's better, always brace UP from the hinge.

It was good to see the size of the Shed in the FLESH so to speak last Sunday before our trip to Wigan and a tour of the M60 around sunny Manchester, hahaha.

The brick work is far better than I expected and it goes to show that the more you work with a product, especially DAS, the better you get, it really is all coming together.

Well done Bud.

Finished the door''s for 72G, after adding the long metal bar's, l thought they need's some bolt heads, so l got some Canopy glue, a form of PVA but a bit thicker, l then applied the bolt heads one by one, and as it dries translucent it will be whatever colour you put it on, l also use this method on my buffer beams of scratch built locos, with practice they can look very effective ?
