andytrains
I'm confused. The signalbox says Yeovil Town. A very similar view in "Southern Sheds" is described as being Yeovil Town. Thanks. I stand corrected.

bluebottle
Teba – in Andalusia, Spain. Memorial in Teba to Sir James Douglas. Parade in memory of James Douglas, Teba (pictures Wikimedia Commons) “Before his death, Robert Bruce had asked his friend Sir James Douglas – that tall, broad, terrible raider – to carry his heart upon a crusade against the paynim and to bury it by the Sepulchre in the Holy Land. The love he had so miraculously inspired among diverse men was loyal to his memory, and a body of dedicated knights followed Douglas to the nearest fight, against the Moors of Granada. They died with him in battle, surrounded by Saracens and abandoned by their Spanish comrades. Douglas threw the heart of Bruce deep into the enemy, telling it to go first as it had always done, and then plunged after it with his knights, shouting the name of his house.” - from “The Lion in the North”, by John Prebble.
