RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted February 9, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted February 9, 2015 Here as a precursor to my halston junction pics from the weekend is one of my gwr well wagons. It is one of the wagons that I run as a mixed freight rake on Halston junction as part of the warley club and it has run with vehicles or no load before so I decided to give it a load. So I have loaded it up withdrawn timber (coffee shop stirrer sticks cut) and secured the load in place with yellow straps and chain. The stack was made by cutting all the sticks to the length I wanted the sticking all the layer together with crafters (wife card craft) double sided 5mm tape. Once the stack was constructed it was then stuck to the wagon with all purpose bostik glue. Might give the chain a light coat of paint not sure yet. Hope you like the results.

That'll have to wait for some warmer weather to be Able to paint it successfully. But I have other jobs to do first.

RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted February 11, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted February 11, 2015 Had some inspiration today from my good friend and weatherer Dan. So I decided to do a second well wagons with a load. This time I decided to go with a covered load. So cut the load out if high density foam then covered it in tin foil. It's now being painted tarpaulin blur (ice blue rail match) the pics below are up to painting stage. I'll post some more pics of the painting tomorrow. RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted March 2, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 2, 2015 Hi PORTHCRESSA and Sonera followers. After much thought and deliberation I've designed the logo for the Sonera ave brewery. So here is (in place) the design for the sign of Shay and Sons Brewery. The shay logo is courtesy of a photo from my good friend Dan who the brewery is named after. He took a photo of one of his shays which I photoshopped to create the logo I wanted.
