James
If I'm off I will be there! I'm not booked off I may treat myself to a day's annual leave on the Saturday! To those who have never been to the show, it's well worth a visit. Easily combined with the NYMR too to make a full day out. It has a very nice, laid back atmosphere and the sun has shone every year I've been!
steve1
A highly recommended show! steve
andyram
Would love to attend, but the weekend before the school breaks up may just be too much of a stretch for me. Its a long journey from Derby!
49395
Less than two weeks to go now! South 6th Street Yard is almost ready... Come along and say hi! Mike
DaveC46026
Probably not the best idea ti start alterations 6 weeks before a show! But we like a challenge! And 24 hours later... Just need a hanging basket liner now!!!
DaveC46026
I'm not ashamed to BUMP this thread! Looking Forward to the weekend, even if the normal operating team aren't together!!! Looks like its going to be a warm one ( Good job the operators legs will be hidden by the layout skirt!) Well it's 95% finished (tell me what layout is ever 100%) If your coming over drop by and say Hi - You'll no doubt have a controller thrust into your Palms, so we can sample some Diesel Haulage over the moors ( I assume there's a Steam ban!) Regards Dave

RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted July 20, 2013 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 20, 2013 Just about ready to go, Thorne Yard's extension looks good and Mike's South 6th St Yard looks superb, especially the palm trees! Just need to wire Streoneshalh's new fiddleyard!
Mike Oliver
I called in on Saturday morning, first time I've seen the village hall car park full. I second the comment about South 6th St Yard, I never realised before how odd American train fans look in HO, out of this world. Well worth a visit. 49395
Aside from operator error and a couple of twitchy servos the layout has run almost faultlessly today, really looking forward to tomorrow. Going to see if I can get another loco chipped tonight Mike
RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted July 20, 2013 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 20, 2013 Had a good day today, all layouts ran well and seemed to be well received, as mentioned earlier we have just built a new traverser fiddleyard for Streoneshalh, we got it 'temporarily' wired this morning and it seemed to run well, certainly works better than the old twisted sector plate! A few photos. Thorne Yard. South 6th Street. (complete with stunt trees and Daleks...) Sandsend goods shed. Wensleydale Cement.
durham light infantry
Excellent show as usual, and great value for money. I had to buy Helen 2 pieces of cake so I could finish mine in peace! Mike's new layout is as good as we have come to expect from him, and nice to see Thorne Yard again with a new fiddle yard. Mike
James
Lovely little show at Goathland - if you can, pop along tomorrow. Tell the in-laws you're not interested in Sunday lunch and head for the Moors! Plus you can go and see the big trains too!
