Thanks, those elements are appealing and I wish I had the space to add them. There will be some raw materials silos, elevators, conveyor sections, and distribution silos. The rest will be ‘assumed’.

After a break from building buildings I’m back on it. 
Firstly a replacement for the temporary card Department store on Kensington Olympia. Plasticard walls on mountboard carcass. Still some work to finish it, mainly doors and windows on the ground floor plus an interior.

It’s just Slaters alphabet. Painted pale green then the front faces over painted in good.

Getting ready for the summer.

These past couple of weeks I've been building the Golden Cod pub for the new 7mm layout, Bovey Quay. Right now laying the header bricks in the window openings. Brickwork scribed onto 5mm foam board. Window headers I cast myself from plaster. Then I'll make a start on the sash window frames, now that should be fun.

The block with the warehouse is almost complete. I've added some shops overlooking Bermondsey Street which I'd always planned to do, although their frontages are not yet finished. And, of course, this is N/2mm scale for my under construction layout.

 

I've also finally made and added hopper-heads and down pipes to the warehouse, but as I'm out of half round styrene strip I've not been able to add gutters and downpipes to the overhanging pitched roofs.

These are in 7mm scale, I drew them up in Adobe Illustrator and cut them out of 2mm MDF on my desktop laser cutter.

Pipework is Evergreen tubing with some 3D printed bends my friend produced for me on his resin printer.

The electrical wiring is copper wire feeding MDF electrical boxes and junctions.

Before I read your description, I was about to comment upon it being a great model of Huddersfield Railway Station!

i was asked by a local railway club to make a low relief cottage for them, i duly made the model and sold them what i had cast off, i am now wondering if there is any takers if i put it back into production.

it uses the peco 0 gauge window & door sets and you will need to source drain pipes & guttering ect.

1/43rd jag for size comparison.

i was also considering a shop front as well.

Slow burner this one, which I'm sure some of you have seen before.  Valance and windows from the excellent York Model Making, I have their slate strips to add to the roof too... when I get a round to it.

Not entirely scratch built, more a butchered kit that started life as a Wills Goods Store. 

 

 

Trouble was, there was nowhere for a sitdown and a brew, so I added the 'office'.  I just need to build the steps for the end door, most likely from the ratio kit.

Just finished adding my scratch built yard lamps to scratch build depot this week..
