Pete 75C
For someone that sometimes has trouble 3-pointing his van out of a cul-de-sac, that is truly impressive.
Tim Chambers
Blimey! I think that had I been the driver, t'would be time to call for the brown trousers!
stewartingram
I'm sure that was Michael Caine driving! But the question is....why bother to turn round, why not just reverse? And how come all those perfect camera positions were set up ready? Stewart
RMweb Gold Enterprisingwestern Posted September 30, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 30, 2013 Nah, he's rubbish, crossed his hands whilst turning the wheel. Mike.
Andy Y
But the question is....why bother to turn round, why not just reverse? And how come all those perfect camera positions were set up ready? It was part of a TV show; pretty impressed - he'd obviously got a good feel for the changes in level as the back wheels dropped off the bridge. Catkins
I think he was taught to drive by this driver. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX9ZPmQgiZI Still impressive though.
Purley Oaks
Impressive, although for such a long vehicle the wheelbase between the front axle and the front-rear axle is quite short - longer than your VW Golf, but shorter than some other large trucks. Had the wheelbase been between the front wheels and the rear-rear axle he wouldn't have made it. Driver had baws, though. Thanks for the link Colin. Impreza owners always drive like that around here, I assumed it was because they couldn't control all that power! Keith
