RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted October 24, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 24, 2013 Don Bradley may not know the music - it's the BBC national news bulletin lead-in music, sometimes played while news story footage is on-screen. The scenic modelling appears brilliant, with lots of flashing blues in a modern Cityscape. Imaginative!
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted October 24, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 24, 2013 To answer the OP - round here they are most easily found in the queue at the cake shop at certain times of the day.
'CHARD
Wow!!! The creator of that is none other than Jimmy Cauty, well known music situationist and most famously member of the KLF/ Justified Ancients of Mu (Doctorin' The Tardis, Last Train To Trancentral etc). The address for this art installation is Arch 402 off Cremer St, Hoxton, beneath the new Overground station or very near to it. A venue I know very well from when we put the railway back five years ago. Sounds like a show worth seeing. Thanks for the link!
HSB
What the hell is a 'music situationist'? Sounds extremely pretentious!
'CHARD
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_KLF I could've used the phrase 'anarchic situationist' but first and foremost the pair are known through musical media.
RMweb Premium Colin Posted October 24, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 24, 2013 Aren't the KLF the mob who burnt a million quid once as some sort of gesture? Pretentious AND barmy - good video though!
Southernman46
Great stuff - haven't listened to KLF for far too long..................... No, I couldn't hear the word "Pleb" on the soundtrack either................................
