industrial
While on the Bluebell Railway on the 5th July 2013 I took some close up photos of the 9f valvegear etc. The top of the smokebox/boiler. Valvegear. Pipework against firebox. Pipework for cylinder drain cocks. And something even the S4 modellers don't get correct, the hole in the axle. RMweb Premium Richard E Posted January 5, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 5, 2014 That last picture also shows the flangeless centre driver nicely. My first reaction on that shot of the boiler top was that it was too clean to be a 9F!
RMweb Premium Kris Posted January 5, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 5, 2014 Great photos, just makes me think that I should get on and build the kit version that I have. If only I wasn't to scared to much it up.
JeffP
You could probably do the hole in the axle in 7mm......
