mason
Good Morning Had a few hours on the layout last night. The lowrelief building is coming along nicely, the sides all painted and weathered, i used a different approach, the base coat was a golden bronze colour which was from a childrens paint pack, as it was drying i painted a medium grey over the top and dabbed it with tissue paper, this left a nice rust colour that just shines thorugh the grey. Weathering powders used once dry for the grime and old look. i also finished the walls and pillers used from an old wills road bridge kit that i had left over, the concrete tops were made from wooden drinks stirers. A few bushes and trees added around the layout. The gap between the main loading building and the lowrelief building will be filled with trees and bushes just to give a green break between the industrial look. i Couldnt resist getting the RF 37 out for a few shots. Thanks
