Good Morning

Had a few hours on the layout last night.

The lowrelief building is coming along nicely, the sides all painted and weathered, i used a different approach, the base coat was a golden bronze colour which was from a childrens paint pack, as it was drying i painted a medium grey over the top and dabbed it with tissue paper, this left a nice rust colour that just shines thorugh the grey.

Weathering powders used once dry for the grime and old look.

i also finished the walls and pillers used from an old wills road bridge kit that i had left over, the concrete tops were made from wooden drinks stirers.

A few bushes and trees added around the layout.

The gap between the main loading building and the lowrelief building will be filled with trees and bushes just to give a green break between the industrial look.

i Couldnt resist getting the RF 37 out for a few shots.

Fence looks good Neil, as does the grass.

Loving the 37/5 action, how good does that bad boy look?!! Love the faded red stripe, looks superb.

Thanks Alex

The RF 37 is my favourite loco of mine small stock list hahaha

It was weathered by Cav at this years Mansfield show, it looks so good, and the red stripe does look awesome with the fade on it
