Hi everyone.

Let me introduce myself

I'm Steve, I live just outside Derbyshire, in Mansfield !.

I model in 7mm. I started in N, then OO (with my late father), now I'm into O gauge, better for my aging eyes !.

I'm into BR Blue diesels (& late green with Tops), mainly late 60's to middle 70's. Especially Scottish themes.

You will see from my following posts what I've been up to & what I'm getting upto.

I have a very tutor in Lancer1027 of this parish, not to mention iploffy, Phill Dyson & Ross Peacock.

That's all for now, beauty sleep time

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve, welcome to the Forum, post your models on here, let us drool over them, I have just decided to go 7mm in the last couple of weeks, so I am clearing out a lot of my OO stock in the next weeks, months, years.

Happy modelling

Craig.

Hello Steve,

Welcome to RMweb. I started my current layout (See Ramchester Chronicles) some 5 years ago with a great deal of help from my friend Howard. My layout is well on the way with most of the scenic work completed and we are now looking at detailing, signalling, finishing the station building etc. 7mm is a great scale to model in and both Howard and I really enjoy our modelling sessions. I would not want to return to any of the smaller scales now that the 7mm bug has bitten.

I am looking forward to seeing some photos of your layout/stock etc so please post some on your thread.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.   Please post some pictures of your project.  I've been in 7mm since I saw the light back in the 90's and joined the forum shortly before my current project (see below my signature) took off.   I hope you get as much help and support as I have.

Jamie

PS If you come to Nottin gham show I'm going to ahve part of my layout there this year.

The two Heljan 26's (to be 26 & 27's) will be R/C.

Ive got as far as both of them with new bogie frames & motors, about to pay for the 27 to have it R/C, with the 26 hopefully just after xmas, funds permitting.
