SG 2-EPB, routes worked?

I have several Bachmann 2-EPB's in blue and I was wondering, what was their sphere of operation and the routes they usually worked?  Also, when was it they started getting painted into blue and grey?

Thanks,

Suburban routes from Charing Cross and Cannon Street - used with 2 x 4EPB to form 10-car peak hour trains, occasionally 6-car trains (4EPB + 2EPB) during the day.

Routes with shuttle services:

Grove Park - Bromley North

Elmers End - Addiscombe

Elmers End - Selsdon/Sanderstead

London Bridge - Battersea Park/Victoria (often 2 x 2EPB during peaks)

West Croydon - Wimbledon

Purley - Tattenham Corner/Caterham

Tonbridge/Paddock Wood - Maidstone West - Strood

Sittingbourne - Sheerness

Very occasionally 2 x 2EPB used instead of 1 x 4EPB

They were used with 4-EPBs to create 6 or 10-car rakes when appropriate. IIRC, 10-cars was the maximum on the Dartford routes prior to the introduction of Networkers. They were used singly on some lightly-used suburban services. This is a list of services I know of where they ran on their own but is not definitive by any means.

West Croydon - Wimbledon

Sanderstead - Elmers End

Addiscombe - Elmers End

Grove Park - Bromley North

Maidstone West - Strood

Ninja'd :(

To add to some of the above comments.

Even unrefurbished EPBs went blue/grey from around 1980ish.

I think Sittingbourne-Sheerness tended to be 2-HAP in the late 70s blue era, and went over to 4-VEP/4-CEP in the 80s.

If the OP was specifically asking about SG (Slade Green) ones, that rules out some of the routes in post 2 above.
