  1. Thanks for that I’ve been searching and I think the magazine you are on about is practical model railways December 1986 edition think new annington was the first layout is saw a (I think ) class 321 emu and a a Mk3 DVT on Brian

  3. I remember reading about new annington in I think railway modeller Possibly in the 90’s ? was a favourite of mine from then on was it a steam era layout that then changed era ? I’ve tried to find the magazines which it was in but no avail I would definitely be interested in reading your article on it when you do one Brian

  5. I’ll certainly repeat the shot once I’ve got all that and the overhead up They do do have a look of them don’t they ,might have to stick some legs and guns on the 76 and see what it looks like lol Brian

  15. Thanks yes they’ve had a coat of rust but I’ll be giving them another few coats until I get the right effect ive ordered some n gauge stuff to try next Brian
  16. Trying different ballasts for my rundown sidings think the ballast is too big but colours are good Brian
  17. Attended on Saturday and really enjoyed the show High standard of layouts really loved seeing Halifax King’s Cross and bawdley for the first time had a very nice chat with an operator of thorncliffe about his wagon couplings . Excellent show well done to all concerned Brian

  20. Grass between tracks on main line areas depots and sidings areas I’ve seen were oily dirty lifeless areas while in use unless abandoned or very rarely used and ready to be removed regards Brian
