    Never ever buy fuel at a motorway service station. Diesel at most places on the M6 going north today was £1.52.9 and 500 yards off the motorway at Carlisle A7 junction £1.33.9 !!!! Saved £9 by avoiding the sharks....

      Yes Mad McCann, I use them when I need to top up on the way home though at 65mpg I could have made it home.

      I just want everyone to know about these rip-off merchants on the M6.

      Lanarkshire Models has just packaged some very nice 145 C solder wire.

      Not on the website yet but have been using it and found it lovely to work with, and yes it does have a wee bit lead in it...
