Agreed, a fantastic resource. Do sign up as their funding, which dictates the rate at which they can add new images, is based on the numbers registered.

  11. is not looking forward to the start of the new school year tomorrow. Another 11 and half months of new government intiatives, Michael Gove talking out of his rear orrifice, reduced pay, unreasonable workload and demands. I'd say roll on next summer but don't want to wish my life away. At least there is organising and exhibiting at the Weston show to look forward to.

I got out eleven years ago - make models for a living now. Lot less money but infinitely less stress :-)

  13. Getting ready to watch Glastonbury on telly for the first time. Not sure how I'm going to feel about it - got used to going over the last thirty years.

  14. Going back to basics and cutting out a loco footplate by hand. Most satisying!

  15. Re6/6 is knackered after completing his 'downsizing' house move (never again!) and is now back on-line. Quarts into pint pots comes to mind. All that train stuff doesn't help.

  16. Pasty Control confirms successful final test prior to launch. Kernow One is on the pad, we have a full payload, all lights are green and KernowCom says we are good to go

  17. One week to go now... less if you're coming with us on the Saturday outings!

  18. Excited about the arrival of my first etched kit, a Judith Edge 2mm Clayton.

  19. ...is in St Albans show's hotel heaven - my room overlooks the Midland mainline. Passenger and freight trains regularly pass this gaff!

  20. ...is off to play with S scale trains in the basement at the St Albans show this weekend. See ya there, troglodytes!

  21. The story of the titled Bus Pass. When I was applying for the thing in the first place I was confronted with the 'select title' page. Mr, I thought was a bit ordinary, Ms, no. Other, thought about it. So I worked my way down the list. Admiral, no epaulets. Archbishop, Archdeacon, all that dressing up just to get on a bus. So I plumped for a Baronetcy. It's got me into quite a few novel places so far. Would you like to see my library ticket?

  24. I hope all of you have a happy 2013, even the ones I've fallen out with, I'm sensible enough to realise this is basically toy trains so if anyone wants to continue holding grudges, then that's down to them, not me.
