  1. Slightly different question (though if a similar theme to the questions on what tooling the EFE one is) - I remain keen on some of the intended Realtrack models - will they still be going ahead?
  2. Having seen the great work by @nightstar.trainto create the EPS version, I wondered if there are any other ‘main’ variations that could be modelled by Accurascale. I’ve come up with: - no roundels, GB Railfreight lettering 92044 Couperin if venturing into mainland Europe: - EWS bodyside logo and DB stickers (Bulgaria) - with or without different deflectors - DB red with no yellow warning panels - Croatia Transagent red - Transagent black It would be good to know if there are any more
  3. Hi @Roy Langridge, this post is quite old but I’m interested if you did the etches in the end?
  4. Suggests a 2025 release based on general timeline from announcement to delivery from the list of products to date? Appreciate some have been faster, some slower.
  5. Does that mean that they are now here Charlie (or just a production sample)?
  6. I fitted these and they seem pretty good https://www.gaugemasterretail.com/magento/train-tech-ttcl150.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiAtbqdBhDvARIsAGYnXBPFma-dkdXkvRG0hAZfPvf1VWK6gU3DQSOZywaEn7B8X47Ycm5CpGMaAj8bEALw_wcB
  7. thank you to those who provided supportive messages this morning. @Torbay Express, I’m still not sure if you’ve got an issue with what I posted based on this message - if you do perhaps you could PM me. similarly, if @McChas an issue with it, please let me know - it is your class 50 after all, so if you want me to remove the table, please let me know. I only have one of the Accurascale 50s on order just now (50014), but can see me adding two more of this batch (50006 and 50021), and many more in the future - they are my favourite class of diesel! Ironically, given the discussion I won’t be ordering two of the others because I’d like those particular locos in different liveries (50008 in Laira blue rather than H&H and 50017 in LMS crimson rather than NSE)!
  8. Sorry if I’ve caused offence - I was genuinely trying to be helpful. But I can also see who has agreed with your post so I must have upset more than just you! I’ll delete my post in the morning as I genuinely thought producing a little table of liveries and models was helpful to the discussion. If opinion on liveries is all that is wanted, can we please have a proper D400 in 1991 blue as sponsored by Rail Magazine.
  9. Yes I think you’re right - I had forgotten that Sea Containers wanted to take it to Peru
  10. Yep, though not sure that it ever worked a train as such! https://www.englishelectric.org.uk/50008/h47b8b626 this was, I think, in a state that it was being moved away from crimson!
  11. Given the debate about liveries on the previous pages, I have tried to put together a list of main liveries carried by loco and whether they’ve already been made in OO. Not intended to be a guide at all to what Accurascale should make as I’d love to see some of these repeated by Accurascale! More just hopefully useful. I also haven’t attempted to set out detail differences between the liveries, there are some great threads on here that do that already 😊 If there are any errors, please let me know and I’ll edit! class 50 liveries and models.xlsx
  12. At the risk of appearing like a ‘fanboy’, but really just for balance… do you mean like this 😂 https://rapidotrains.co.uk/product/apt-e-train-pack-intercity-swallow-livery/
  13. Pleased to report mine arrived with no glue marks too! I do have a question though - are these with certificates? Seem to remember all previous Kernow models having one?
  14. I see what you mean on the aerials - I wonder if this is a limitation of the new tool? Mine was despatched yesterday, hopefully none of those glue misting marks when it arrives - I know they are small, but they are there at the bottom of the cab side handrails (maybe an early version which were superglued back in!).
  15. Worse still today, the number of mobile phones held aloft to record the passing of the hearse, to the detriment / line of sight of anyone trying to pay respect.
  16. I’ve done it, but then got individual order numbers back for every item. So it is possible to add multiple preorder items to the cart - Hornby just then don’t recognise it as a single order.
  17. Isn’t the point here though that someone can place one order, with multiple items, and then Hornby’s system creates an order per item from that single order. It is then incapable of re-combining them when the items all get delivered at once. It’s so frustrating, environmentally poor (driving half empty boxes around), cost inefficient (either to the customer if you have to pay postage on every item, or to Hornby if they are paying their fulfilment company for every parcel and then refunding the cost to the customer). it’s this sort of inefficiency that can only add to their profitability issues, even if they do get more margin from direct sales. Either that or every customer is prepared to wear the cost of their inefficient processes!
  18. I wasn’t referring to those items (ie the Well Tank, O2, JIA, PBA or gate stock). I was more thinking of the OO J94, the N shark, mermaid and 17. Presumably made in the same factory and a deal done directly given that (as I understand) DJM never owned any of the tooling. who knows where the OO 71 ended up but can’t imagine there’s much capacity in the market for more of them!
  19. Kernow purchased various tools that were in the DJM stable, and then runs appeared in the EFE Rail brand from Bachmann, so there is precedent…
  20. Yes, nice coach. The circuit board was loose in mine but easily screwed back in. is it the last of the GNER coaches? I thought there was one left to go?
  21. Plus it was done as both Railroad and non Railroad, so if it was really ‘created to be part of railroad’ then there was some misselling going on!
  22. Looks like an open and honest response which is to be applauded. Though not quite true that Hornby online don’t discount - they do to club members and have run a couple of 20% off periods so far this year
  23. thank you, that does look better!
  24. The thing I can’t work out is the front nose - it looks to me like the flat section starts too high up, making it look a little like it’s had a punch in the nose - am I imagining it?
